30 July 2008

personalised stamps

A final reminder that any orders for personalised stamps must be placed tomorrow.

The stamps will be removed from the website at 00:01 (UK time) on Friday 1st August and I will not be accepting any requests after this - nope, not a single one - no matter how lovely you are.

I hate to disappoint anyone so please don't force me to, by asking for personalised stamps once they're gone.

That's all I wanted to say! :)

Have a great evening,

Isn't this stunning!!

Here's a gorgeous card by DT member Inge Groot, my jaw dropped when she showed me it - aren't the freckles just the cutest!!!

A link to Inge's blog can be found on the right.

Beautiful!!!

just a quick reminder

that our personalised stamps are only available to order up until THIS Thursday!

What do you think

of the new look?? it's bright and sunny just how the weekend has been here. I hope everyone else has been so lucky.

I've added a list of the DT members blogs now and if you click on "meet the design team" there's a little info about the lovely ladies (there are one or two that still need to be filled in so I will do that soon).

(please let me know if it's generally slow to load as I might need to make the files smaller).

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, big sunny hugs!

Showcase Sunday - this is a big one!!

I have lots and lots of creations to share this week.

Here's a link to Michelle White's [BLOG] with a couple of really cute window cards using the ElzybellsNA stamps. I love the soft colouring - I REALLY need to get myself some Koh-i-noor pencils!

Here is a selection of cards by Ria van Son, from the Netherlands. Visit her blog [HERE]

Here are a few more creations from Cookie Groover.

Cookie's SCS gallery is "Stampgroover".

Amanda Fergusson emailed me this very sweet card

This beautiful card is by Shirley Ellwood - it's her first elzybells creation! Here's Shirley's [BLOG]

and last but not least two lovely cards from Irene Dunn.

Thank you to all the ladies who shared their creations this week!

Announcing the design team!

Well, with over 100 (!) wonderful submissions you cannot believe the trouble I've had picking the design team. Every single applicant has a unique style and so full of talent. I was anticipating only picking around ten DT members but it ended up being double that - because it has been so hard to choose!!

I had a HUGE shortlist which I managed to whittle down a little, but for those that have not made it onto the design team this time, there are a lot of people I would love to ask if they would do a guest spot at some point.

Here are the members of the first elzybells design team:

Alex Eaton, UK
Angel Rivera, USA
Beverly Rousch, USA
Charlene Austin, Canada
Dawn wheeler, UK
Deborah Southard, USA
Eva Costigan, USA
Frances Byrne, Australia
Inge Groot, The Netherlands
Jeanne Streiff, USA
Katie Stilwater, USA
Kim Fee, UK
Kitty Frampton, UK
Maria Adams, UK
Michelle Short, UK
Michelle Woerner, USA
Pam Fraser, UK
Paula Williamson, USA
Rachel Hope Baird, USA
Shannan Teubner, USA
Stephanie Mayne, UK
Tobi Crawford, Canada

I'm so excited as I think we have a great mix of styles within the team. It's going to be so much fun and I'm positive that we will all be inspired by their work.

I am giving the blog a makeover next week so I will have a page giving more details, blog links etc for all the members of the design team then!

Congratulations to those that made it onto the team and many, many thanks for all the talented people who took the time to apply - you may be hearing from me at some point...!!

big excited hugs!

The first Showcase Sunday!

Here are some great creations by two lovely ladies.

Visit Lori Barnett's [BLOG] for her bright and cheery retail therapy card.

and here are a few cards by Cookie Groover (click on each to picture to see a larger image) Cookie's SCS gallery can be found under Stampgroover.

I think this kitty card is my favourite! I love the window shutters!!

Thank you to Lori and Cookie for sharing their works of art xx

Although not strictly a showcase Sunday category, I wanted to share Geraldine Carruther's blog. Geraldine has just recently opened a lovely new craft shop, Cullen Crafts, in Moray, Scotland and will soon be stocking Elzybells stamps!! If you like pink - you'll just love her shop!

If you live in the area, be sure to show your support and if you plan to visit Moray add it to your list of places to visit!

"Showcase Sundays"

Some of you have been kind enough to share your creations with me made using elzybells stamps and I just love to see what you've been up to. I was thinking about having a "Showcase Sunday" so any creations that you're particularly proud of and want to share, just email me the blog link or a photo and every Sunday I will post any that I have received during the week. What do you think?

I'm still more than happy to see your creations even if you don't wish them to be shown on the blog (just let me know if this is the case).

Today is the last day for DT entries, if you are worried it's too late there are still a few hours left to get yours in!

hugs,

On cloud nine...

Check out these fabulous cards by Lori Barnett on HER BLOG using an elzy stamp from A Muse. Aren't they lovely! I'm a sucker for purple and with added glitter and sparkle, they're just so lush! Thanks for sharing Lori!

I've had a few enquiries about my Christmas designs - I've been busy getting my artwork ready for plating so I will have this design and most of my previous Christmas stamps available very soon!

On a different topic, I've noticed that some airmail orders are taking up to 2 weeks to arrive. I'm very annoyed about this as royal mail quote 3-5 days. I hope that it's only affecting a very small number of orders but please bear this in mind if you are expecting an order. It's so frustrating when you just want to get stamping!

Also, just a really quick reminder - the cut off date for DT applications is this Thursday. Boy, I've got my work cut out ;)

10 July 2008

do you remember ...

... the blog candy I offered when I started the blog? I picked 3 winners, but can you believe it - two of them still haven't come forward!

I think I've been fair and given them plenty of time so now I have picked two new winners using random.org

The winners are:
