I'm ever so grateful to everyone who left such wonderfully encouraging comments and emails. I had a lot of fun designing these stamps. Sometimes the designing process can be a struggle and other times it comes easily and is a real pleasure, full of excitement.

These designs fall under the latter, I had great fun developing these - I knew if nothing else, I would get a kick out of using them but I'm glad you love them too! :)

The design team made some wonderful samples and I'm so grateful to them for their hard work.

It's release day & MEGA blog candy!!!

I know it couldn't come around fast enough for some of you! All the new stamps will be available in the online shop from midday today :)

The DT have more samples to share with you today so be sure to visit their blogs for some great ideas.

 

I just can't get enough of these new stamps, they're so versatile, I'll be sampling a few more creations over the next couple of weeks.

I promised no kraft paper today so I've gone with some brighter colours. Now, who could resist a TRIPLE layer cupcake like this??!

You're the cherry on top

 

Does this cupcake look delicious or what?!

Cupcakes... fairy cakes... muffins... I don't discriminate - I love them all!

 

I went with a pretty simple feel on this card and concentrated more on the colouring. Doesn't that cherry look mouth watering!

This is another *big* set, like the tea for two set, where you can customize your cupcakes!

 

 

I used a simple masking technique on this card using a post-it note as I wanted a flat image. You could just as easily stamp each cupcake separately, cut them out and pop them up for a more 3d effect.

 

 

I couldn't resist adding some glitter and liquid pearls as sprinkles!

 

 

Well, I told you I couldn't wait to play with my new kraft paper. Probably a bit of an over kill on these sneaks so far! Tomorrow there won't be a single piece of kraft paper in sight - I promise!!

Cool beans

It's the second day of sneak peeks for our new release on Monday!

There really is nothing like a good cuppa! Here are a few cards I made using two new upcoming sets; Cool Beans and Tea for Two.

 

Cool beans is a fun little clear set used here -

 

 

The circle on the cup is actually blank and it's the perfect size to stamp a tiny star from another of my new sets!

 

 

 

The next couple of cards are made using the new Tea for Two set. This is a *big* clear set with a mixture of images which you can build up and customize. 

   

 

There are three different cups / mugs and each one has a duplicate with the handle on the other side so you really can have tea for two!

Yep, that's right! The DT and I are counting down to the release on Monday with lots card samples to tease you with ;)

We're all so excited about this release, I had some fantastic comments when I first showed the DT what was to come and they love, love, love the new designs!!

 

Here's my first peek. We have a couple of new sets called 'eggstravaganza' and 'eggstravaganza sentiments'. Can you guess what these sets are all about?? :)

 

 

 

I thought I'd go for a rustic feel. I've been just dying to play with some kraft paper I bought from papertrey recently. Doesn't the white ink just pop!

 

 

The chicken and hay image is from the 'chicken in' clear set and it works so perfectly with the eggstravaganza sets.

 

The egg was stamped with white ink and then just shaded around the edge to give a little depth before stamping the outline. I coloured with prismas and blended with baby oil - but on this kraft card you have to be careful not to overload your stump with too much oil!

 

 

Be sure to check out what the DT have come up with today - we'll all have something new to share each day 'til Monday! (there's a time difference beween some of us, so if you can't see a sneak, do pop back!).

 

 

  

 

It's time for this fortnight's challenge! Steph has set us a different type of challenge - a recipe! So you must incorporate into your card:

2 pieces of ribbon

3 brads

and a rectangle - doesn't that sound fun! :)

 

Here's my attempt. I didn't have any brown brads so had to make do with buttons, although I would have liked them to be smaller.

 

 

All the DT's challenge cards are shown in the gallery on the right for your inspiration (challenge 14). I love everything they came up with. I especially love how Steph used two ribbons to create one bow, I'd have never thought of that - it's a fab idea.

 

 

 

I automatically went for 2 lengths of ribbon so I love how Paula used her two pieces -

 

 

 

All the DT's cards are wonderful and have so inspired me, they're completely different to the ideas that popped into my head when hearing the recipe. I like something different about each and every one. I think recipe challenges are going to be very interesting...!

I haven't listed the stamps that were used for each card yet, it's very late and my bed is calling but I promise I'll get around to it by the end of the week :)

Jo King made these amazing mail boxes for her two boys and filled them with sweeties! They absolutely loved them and who wouldn't! They make wonderful treats for children and adults alike!
